Violent Soho...... The Bronx ...yeah!

Really exciting news about Violent Soho's upcoming national tour which has just been announced today. They're joined by best buds from the USofA The Bronx. Who will shred your ears to bleed. Also joining the tour is Tassie act Luca Braci and Perth's own Tired Lion. The Melbourne show will be at Festival Hall on Monday 31st October...... Which is great news for kids because they'll be able to get along as its All Ages.

I'm actually a very big fan of the Bronx and I'm yet to miss one of their Australian tours. The first I seen in 2003, they played at the old HiFi Bar with local rock legends Warped. Funny enough in 2013, The Bronx were on tour for the Groov'in the Moo festival. They played 2 side shows at the Corner Hotel, which I went to both shows. The first show they're support act was actually Violent Soho. Which was a few months before they exploded with the release of Hungry Ghost. Violent Soho killed it that night, while it was the first time I've seen the Bronx off their game. The following night DZ Deathrays supported the Bronx. The Bronx made up for an average performance the night before and crushed it much like They usually do.

Violent Soho are always a solid live band. They've been an interesting band. They have always had a decent following around the rock scene. Especially with doing nation wide USA tours with the Bronx, and from memory released their debut album with Thurston Moore's Ecstatic Peace! Records. Obviously they're now the biggest band in the country, which is fantastic for Rock'n Roll.

General tickets go on sale this Friday 15th July at 9am.
